We pull out all the stops

Of course it’s impossible produce our trousers without any harmful effects on the climate whatsoever. But we’re making an effort: the exclusive use of organic, instead of conventional cotton in our trousers already helps to significantly reduce CO2 emissions. We're also making increasing use of modern technologies, such as solar power and electric mobility. Compensating for the remaining unavoidable greenhouse gas emissions with high quality climate protection certificates allows us to achieve 100% climate neutrality.

Clear evidence

We take a professional approach to our commitment towards the climate. Fokus Zukunft GmbH & Co. KG are advisers to companies who are making efforts to achieve a better carbon footprint. Firstly on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, then on recording the actual carbon footprint, and finally on offsetting measures. Fokus Zukunft issues the climate neutral company and climate neutral product certificates to corresponding companies.

What exactly is being supported?

By acquiring high quality climate protection certificates, we’re supporting a UN hydroelectric power project: the Bujagali hydropower plant on the Victoria Nile in the Republic of Uganda. The power plant provides a 90%i share of the renewable energies in the Ugandan power network, which makes the country one of the cleanest electricity producers in the world.

Global connections

Greenhouse gases are distributed evenly in the atmosphere. As a result, it was set down in the Kyoto Protocol, which is binding under international law, to prevent emissions wherever the costs are most economical. Projects in emerging and developing countries also contribute towards improving the economic, social and ecological situation and help to achieve the United Nations Sustainability Goals.
